Gene Name: GART

Specificity:

Background: Trifunctional purine biosynthetic protein adenosine-3 is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the GART gene. The protein encoded by this gene is a trifunctional polypeptide. It has phosphoribosylglycinamide formyltransferase, phosphoribosylglycinamide synthetase, phosphoribosylaminoimidazole synthetase activity which is required for de novo purine biosynthesis. This enzyme is highly conserved in vertebrates. Alternative splicing of this gene results in two transcript variants encoding different isoforms.

Immunogen: E.coli-derived human GART recombinant protein (Position: E68-E1010). Human GART shares 86.2% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with mouse GART.

Clonality: Polyclonal

Contents: Each vial contains 4 mg Trehalose, 0.9 mg NaCl, 0.2 mg Na2HPO4.

Purification: Immunogen affinity purified.

Reconstitution: Adding 0.2 ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 μg/ml.
