Background: This gene encodes a member of the GP40 family of G protein-coupled receptors that are clustered together on chromosome 19. The encoded protein is a receptor for short chain free fatty acids and may be involved in the inflammatory response and in regulating lipid plasma levels.

Immunogen: E.coli-derived human FFAR2 recombinant protein (Position: I145-E330). Human FFAR2 shares 79.6% and 80.6% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with mouse and rat FFAR2, respectively.
