Gene Name: ATF5
Specificity:
Background: Activating transcription factor 5, also known as ATF5, is a protein that, in humans, is encoded by the ATF5 gene. Enables several functions, including DNA-binding transcription activator activity, RNA polymerase II-specific; RNA polymerase II transcription regulatory region sequence-specific DNA binding activity; and tubulin binding activity. Involved in several processes, including fat cell differentiation; regulation of cell cycle process; and regulation of transcription, DNA-templated. Located in centrosome; cytosol; and nucleoplasm.
Immunogen: E.coli-derived human ATF5 recombinant protein (Position: L11-R275). Human ATF5 shares 86.5% and 87.2% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with mouse and rat ATF5, respectively.
Clonality: Polyclonal
Contents: Each vial contains 4 mg Trehalose, 0.9 mg NaCl, 0.2 mg Na2HPO4.
Purification: Immunogen affinity purified.
Reconstitution: Adding 0.2 ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 μg/ml.
