Acts upstream of or within cerebral cortex regionalization; hematopoietic stem cell homeostasis; and positive regulation of neural precursor cell proliferation. Located in glial limiting end-foot. Is expressed in several structures, including alimentary system; ganglia; genitourinary system; respiratory system; and sensory organ.
