Storage: Store at -20℃ for one year from date of receipt. After reconstitution, at 4℃ for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20℃ for six months. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Form: Lyophilized

Reactivity: Human

Applications: WB

Application Details: Western blot, 0.1-0.5μg/ml, Human

Gene Name: ABCB4

Specificity: No cross reactivity with other proteins.

Background: Adenosine triphosphate-binding cassette subfamily B, member 4 (ABCB4), also called MDR3, is a protein that in humans is encoded by the ABCB4 gene. MDR1 and MDR3 constitute the human P-glycoprotein gene family. The MDR3 gene contains 28 exons and 27 of these contain coding sequences for the two homologous halves of the protein that correlate with functional domains. MDR3 gene mutations represent a genetic factor involved in this peculiar form of cholesterol gallstone disease in adults.

Immunogen: A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence at the N-terminus of human ABCB4.

Clonality: Polyclonal

Contents: Each vial contains antibody formulated with stabilizing components, 0.9mg NaCl, 0.2mg Na2HPO4, 0.05mg Thimerosal, 0.05mg NaN3.
*This antibody is supplied in a stabilized formulation. Compatibility with conjugation reactions depends on the chemistry of the conjugation method used. For conjugation methods that are not compatible with the stabilizing components present in this formulation, a carrier-free antibody format is required.

Purification: Immunogen affinity purified.

Reconstitution: Add 0.2ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500ug/ml.
