Background:Cytokine that binds to TNFRSF18/AITR/GITR. Regulates T-cell responses. Can function as costimulator and lower the threshold for T-cell activation and T-cell proliferation. Important for interactions between activated T-lymphocytes and endothelial cells. Mediates activation of NF-kappa-B. Triggers increased phosphorylation of STAT1 and up-regulates expression of VCAM1 and ICAM1.Promotes leukocyte adhesion to endothelial cells .Regulates migration of monocytes from the splenic reservoir to sites of inflammation.
Concentration:
Activity:Not validated for activity
Sequence:Leu49-Ser177
Purity: > 90% as determined by reducing SDS-PAGE.
Formulation:Lyophilized from sterile PBS, pH 7.4.
Normally 5%-8% trehalose, mannitol and 0.01% Tween 80 are added as protectants before lyophilization.
Please refer to the specific buffer information in the printed manual.
Reconstitution:It is recommended that sterile water be added to the vial to prepare a stock solution of 0.5 mg/mL. Concentration is measured by UV-Vis.
Endotoxin:< 1.0 EU/mg of the protein as determined by the LAL method.
Calculated MW:14.6 kDa
ObservedMW:15 kDa
