Gene Name: TYRP1
Specificity:
Background: This gene encodes a melanosomal enzyme that belongs to the tyrosinase family and plays an important role in the melanin biosynthetic pathway. Defects in this gene are the cause of rufous oculocutaneous albinism and oculocutaneous albinism type III.
Immunogen: E.coli-derived human TYRP1 recombinant protein (Position: R131-V537). Human TYRP1 shares 89.2% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with mouse TYRP1.
Clonality: Polyclonal
Contents: Each vial contains 4 mg Trehalose, 0.9 mg NaCl, 0.2 mg Na2HPO4.
Purification: Immunogen affinity purified.
Reconstitution: Adding 0.2 ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 μg/ml.
