Application Details: Western blot, 0.25-0.5 μg/ml, Human, Mouse, Rat

Gene Name: MYL4

Specificity:

Background: Atrial Light Chain-1 (ALC-1), also known as Essential Light Chain, Atrial is a protein that in humans is encoded by the MYL4 gene. Myosin is a hexameric ATPase cellular motor protein. It is composed of two myosin heavy chains, two nonphosphorylatable myosin alkali light chains, and two phosphorylatable myosin regulatory light chains. This gene encodes a myosin alkali light chain that is found in embryonic muscle and adult atria. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein have been found for this gene.

Immunogen: A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequencein the middle region of human MYL4.

Clonality: Polyclonal

Contents: Each vial contains 4 mg Trehalose, 0.9 mg NaCl, 0.2 mg Na2HPO4.

Purification: Immunogen affinity purified.

Reconstitution: Adding 0.2 ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 μg/ml.
