Gene Name: MTM1

Specificity:

Background: This gene encodes a dual-specificity phosphatase that acts on both phosphotyrosine and phosphoserine. It is required for muscle cell differentiation and mutations in this gene have been identified as being responsible for X-linked myotubular myopathy.

Immunogen: E.coli-derived human MTM1 recombinant protein (Position: M1-D584). Human MTM1 shares 92.6% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with mouse MTM1.

Clonality: Polyclonal

Contents: Each vial contains 4 mg Trehalose, 0.9 mg NaCl, 0.2 mg Na2HPO4.

Purification: Immunogen affinity purified.

Reconstitution: Adding 0.2 ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 μg/ml.
