Background: This gene encodes a protein which is a component of the hexameric minichromosome maintenance (MCM) complex which regulates initiation and elongation of DNA. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.

Immunogen: E.coli-derived human MCMBP recombinant protein (Position: E234-E534). Human MCMBP shares 94.7% and 95% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with mouse and rat MCMBP, respectively.
