Application Details: Immunohistochemistry(Paraffin-embedded Section), 2-5 μg/ml, Human
Gene Name: GZMK
Specificity:
Background: Granzyme K is a protein that in humans is encoded by the GZMK gene. This gene product is a member of a group of related serine proteases from the cytoplasmic granules of cytotoxic lymphocytes. Cytolytic T lymphocytes (CTL) and natural killer (NK) cells share the remarkable ability to recognize, bind, and lyse specific target cells. They are thought to protect their host by lysing cells bearing on their surface 'nonself' antigens, usually peptides or proteins resulting from infection by intracellular pathogens. The protein described here lacks consensus sequences for N-glycosylation present in other granzymes
Immunogen: A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence in the middle region of human Granzyme K/GZMK, which shares 71.4% and 73.9% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with mouse and rat GZMK, respectively.
Clonality: Polyclonal
Contents: Each vial contains 4 mg Trehalose, 0.9 mg NaCl, 0.2 mg Na2HPO4.
Purification: Immunogen affinity purified.
Reconstitution: Adding 0.2 ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 μg/ml.
