Form: Lyophilized

Reactivity: Human,Mouse,Rat

Applications: WB,ELISA

Application Details: Western blot, 0.25-0.5 μg/ml, Human, Mouse, Rat
ELISA, 0.1-0.5 μg/ml

Gene Name: SGCB

Specificity:

Background: This gene encodes a member of the sarcoglycan family. Sarcoglycans are transmembrane components in the dystrophin-glycoprotein complex which help stabilize the muscle fiber membranes and link the muscle cytoskeleton to the extracellular matrix. Mutations in this gene have been associated with limb-girdle muscular dystrophy.

Immunogen: E.coli-derived human Beta Sarcoglycan/SGCB recombinant protein (Position: E101-H318). Human Beta Sarcoglycan/SGCB shares 95.4% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with mouse Beta Sarcoglycan/SGCB.

Clonality: Polyclonal

Contents: Each vial contains 4 mg Trehalose, 0.9 mg NaCl, 0.2 mg Na2HPO4.

Purification: Immunogen affinity purified.

Reconstitution: Adding 0.2 ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 μg/ml.
