Background:Most importantly, placental alkaline phosphatase (ALPP), an ectoenzyme that locates on cell surface with catalytic domains outside the plasma membrane and is overexpressed on many cancer cells, dephosphorylate the d-tyrosine phosphates on the surface of the magnetic nanoparticle and enable the magnetic nanoparticles to adhere selectively to the cancer cells, such as HeLa cells. Placental alkaline phosphatase (PLAP), encoded by the ALPP gene, is produced by the fetal side of the placenta.
Concentration:
Activity:Not validated for activity
Sequence:Ile23-Asp506
Purity:> 95% as determined by reducing SDS-PAGE.
Formulation:Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered solution in PBS with 5% Trehalose and 5% Mannitol.
Reconstitution:It is recommended that sterile water be added to the vial to prepare a stock solution of 0.5 mg/mL. Concentration is measured by UV-Vis
Endotoxin:< 1.0 EU/mg of the protein as determined by the LAL method
Calculated MW:53.1 kDa
ObservedMW:60-70 kDa
