ELISA, 0.1-0.5 μg/ml
Gene Name: TPBG
Specificity:
Background: This gene encodes a leucine-rich transmembrane glycoprotein that may be involved in cell adhesion. The encoded protein is an oncofetal antigen that is specific to trophoblast cells. In adults this protein is highly expressed in many tumor cells and is associated with poor clinical outcome in numerous cancers. Alternate splicing in the 5' UTR results in multiple transcript variants that encode the same protein.
Immunogen: E.coli-derived human TPBG recombinant protein (Position: E70-V420). Human TPBG shares 84.3% and 83.5% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with mouse and rat TPBG, respectively.
Clonality: Polyclonal
Contents: Each vial contains 4 mg Trehalose, 0.9 mg NaCl, 0.2 mg Na2HPO4.
Purification: Immunogen affinity purified.
Reconstitution: Adding 0.2 ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 μg/ml.
