Background: Predicted to enable G protein-coupled receptor activity and taste receptor activity. Predicted to be involved in sensory perception of umami taste. Predicted to be active in plasma membrane. Is expressed in tongue anterior part. Orthologous to human TAS1R1 (taste 1 receptor member 1).

Immunogen: E.coli-derived mouse TAS1R1 recombinant protein (Position: E102-T842). Mouse TAS1R1 shares 72.9% and 88.8% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with human and rat TAS1R1, respectively.
