Background: Structural maintenance of chromosomes protein 1B (SMC-1B) is a protein that in humans is encoded by the SMC1B gene. SMC1L2 belongs to a family of proteins required for chromatid cohesion and DNA recombination during meiosis and mitosis.

Immunogen: E.coli-derived human SMC1B recombinant protein (Position: R106-D1221). Human SMC1B shares 83.2% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with mouse SMC1B.
