Gene Name: IST1
Specificity:
Background: IST1 homolog is a protein that in humans is encoded by the KIAA0174 gene. This gene encodes a protein with MIT-interacting motifs that interacts with components of endosomal sorting complexes required for transport (ESCRT). ESCRT functions in vesicle budding, such as that which occurs during membrane abscission in cytokinesis. There is a pseudogene for this gene on chromosome 19. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding multiple isoforms have been observed for this gene.
Immunogen: E.coli-derived human hIST1/IST1 recombinant protein (Position: E31-D331). Human IST1 shares 94% and 93.1% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with mouse and rat IST1, respectively.
Clonality: Polyclonal
Contents: Each vial contains 4 mg Trehalose, 0.9 mg NaCl, 0.2 mg Na2HPO4.
Purification: Immunogen affinity purified.
Reconstitution: Adding 0.2 ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 μg/ml.
