Gene Name: AMHR2
Specificity: No cross reactivity with other proteins.
Background: AMHR2 is the receptor for the anti-Mullerian hormone (AMH) which, in addition to testosterone, results in male sex differentiation. AMH and testosterone are produced in the testes by different cells and have different effects. Testosterone promotes the development of male genitalia while the binding of AMH to the encoded receptor prevents the development of the mullerian ducts into uterus and Fallopian tubes. Mutations in this gene are associated with persistent Mullerian duct syndrome type II. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
Immunogen: A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence at the C-terminus of human AMHR2, different from the related mouse and rat sequences by three amino acids.
Clonality: Polyclonal
Contents: Each vial contains antibody formulated with stabilizing components, 0.9 mg NaCl, 0.2 mg Na2HPO4, and 0.05 mg NaN3.
*This antibody is supplied in a stabilized formulation.
Compatibility with conjugation reactions depends on the chemistry of the conjugation method used.
For conjugation methods that are not compatible with the stabilizing components present in this formulation, a carrier-free antibody format is required.
Purification: Immunogen affinity purified.
Reconstitution: Add 0.2ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500ug/ml.
