The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
To minimize extra influence on the performance, operation procedures and lab conditions, especially room temperature, air humidity, incubator temperature should be strictly controlled. It is also strongly suggested that the whole assay is performed by the same operator from the beginning to the end.

Assay procedure summary: 1. Read at 450nm immediately.

Test principle: The test principle applied in this kit is Sandwich enzyme immunoassay. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to S100 Calcium Binding Protein A12 (S100A12). Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to S100 Calcium Binding Protein A12 (S100A12). Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. After TMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain S100 Calcium Binding Protein A12 (S100A12), biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated Avidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm ± 10nm. The concentration of S100 Calcium Binding Protein A12 (S100A12) in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.

Research Area: Signal transduction;Infection immunity;Immune molecule;

References Citing This Product: Correlation of human S100A12 (EN-RAGE) and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein as gingival crevicular fluid and serum markers of inflammation in chronic periodontitis and type 2 diabetes

The Circulating Level of Soluble Receptor for Advanced Glycation End Products Displays Different Patterns in Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn’s Disease: A Cross-Sectional Study

Low Endogenous Secretory Receptor for Advanced Glycation End-Products Levels Are Associated With Inflammation and Carotid Atherosclerosis in Prediabetes

High intake of dietary advanced glycation end-products is associated with increased arterial stiffness and inflammation in subjects with type 2 diabetes.

HbA1c Identifies Subjects With Prediabetes and Subclinical Left Ventricular Diastolic Dysfunction.

A Granulocyte-Specific Protein S100A12 as a Potential Prognostic Factor Affecting Aggressiveness of Therapy in Patients with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis

The role of serum S100A12 (calgranulin C) as a diagnostic marker in Egyptian patients with irritable bowel syndrome and ulcerative colitis

Analysis of S100A12 plasma levels in hyperlipidemic subjects with or without familial hypercholesterolemia

1 h Postload Glycemia Is Associated with Low Endogenous Secretory Receptor for Advanced Glycation End Product Levels and Early Markers of Cardiovascular …

Multimarker Approach to Identify Patients with Coronary Artery Disease at High Risk for Subsequent Cardiac Adverse Events: The Multi-Biomarker Study

Alarmins HMGB1, IL-33, S100A7, and S100A12 in Psoriasis Vulgaris

The Serum and Saliva Proteome of Dogs with Diabetes Mellitus

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0558/8588/9636/files/no_image_default_image-jpeg_ca5a0e0a-09b0-4239-8ee5-ecca84383a4f.jpg?v=1783134920
