An antibody specific for PPAR-B has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and anyPPAR-B present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for PPAR-B is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of PPAR-B bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.

Product Overview: Peroxisome Proliferator-Activated Receptor gamma is a member of the orphan nuclear receptor family. Oxidized metabolites of linoleic acid, 9-hydroxyctadienoic acid (9-HODE) and 13-HODE are activators and ligands of PPAR-gamma. PPAR-gamma; is expressed in white adipose tissue, intestinal mucosa, colon, spleen, monocytes, macrophages, retina, cartilage, osteoclasts, and skeletal muscle. PPAR-γ plays important roles in lipid and glucose metabolism, and has been implicated in obesity-related metabolic diseases such as hyperlipidemia, insulin resistance, and coronary artery disease. Three known family members are called PPAR alpha, delta, and gamma. Three N-terminal isoforms, called gamma1, gamma 2 and gamma 3, are known to arise by alternative splicing and promoter usage from the PPAR-gamma gene. RXR is an obligate partner for PPAR.

Stability: The stability of ELISA kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test. Keep the kit at 37°C for 4 and 7 days, and compare O.D.values of the kit kept at 37°C with that of at recommended temperature. (referring from China Biological Products Standard, which was calculated by the Arrhenius equation. For ELISA kit, 4 days storage at 37°C can be considered as 6 months at 2 - 8°C, which means 7 days at 37°C equaling 12 months at 2 - 8°C).

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0558/8588/9636/products/no_image_default_image-jpeg_d80ed396-21d9-4138-b9e3-1d2042e3035b.jpg?v=1660528785
https://www.genebiosystems.com/products/mouse-peroxisome-proliferator-activated-receptor-beta-ppar-b-elisa-kit
