PTPs are signaling molecules that regulate a variety of cellular processes including cell growth, differentiation, mitotic cycle, and oncogenic transformation. This PTP contains a C-terminal PEST motif, which serves as a protein-protein interaction domain, and may regulate protein intracellular half-life. This PTP was found to bind and dephosphorylate the product of the oncogene c-ABL and thus may play a role in oncogenesis. This PTP was also shown to interact with, and dephosphorylate, various products related to cytoskeletal structure and cell adhesion, such as p130 (Cas), CAKbeta/PTK2B, PSTPIP1, and paxillin. This suggests it has a regulatory role in controlling cell shape and mobility.

Concentration:1 mg/mL

Immunogen:Recombinant human PTPN12 fragment

Buffer:PBS, 50% glycerol, 0.05% Proclin 300, 0.05% protein protectant.

Purification method:Protein A purified

Dilution:WB 1:1000-1:5000

Calculated MW:88 kDa

ObservedMW:120 kDa

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0558/8588/9636/files/no_image_default_image-jpeg_da1474b6-b1c4-4067-a307-1221896fc39b.jpg?v=1782654233
