Alternative Name(s): DNA polymerase sigma LAK-1 PAP-associated domain-containing protein 7 TRAMP-like complex polyadenylate polymerase Terminal uridylyltransferase 5

Relevance: Catalytic subunit of a TRAMP-like complex which has a poly(A) RNA polymerase activity and is involved in a post-transcriptional quality control mechanism. Polyadenylation with short oligo(A) tails is required for the degradative activity of the exosome on several of its nuclear RNA substrates. Has no terminal uridylyltransferase activity, and does not play a role in replication-dependent histone mRNA degradation via uridylation.

Purity: Greater than 85% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

Storage Buffer: Tris-based buffer,50% glycerol

Storage: The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself. Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20℃/-80℃. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20℃/-80℃.

Notes: Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4℃ for up to one week.
