Human endothelial cells bind to Del1 together with the alpha-V (ITGAV)\/beta-3 (ITGB3) integrin receptor. It is confirmed that adhesion of endothelial cells to Del1 is integrin mediated and that Del1 binds ITGAV\/ITGB3. Functional analysis showed that both Del1 and vitronectin (VTN) stimulate endothelial cell migration.
