The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
To minimize extra influence on the performance, operation procedures and lab conditions, especially room temperature, air humidity, incubator temperature should be strictly controlled. It is also strongly suggested that the whole assay is performed by the same operator from the beginning to the end.

Assay procedure summary: 1. Prepare all reagents, samples and standards;
2. Add 50µL standard or sample to each well.
    And then add 50µL prepared Detection Reagent A immediately.
    Shake and mix. Incubate 1 hour at 37°C;
3. Aspirate and wash 3 times;
4. Add 100µL prepared Detection Reagent B. Incubate 30 minutes at 37°C;
5. Aspirate and wash 5 times;
6. Add 90µL Substrate Solution. Incubate 10-20 minutes at 37°C;
7. Add 50µL Stop Solution. Read at 450 nm immediately.

Test principle: This assay employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. A polyclonal antibody specific to TSH has been pre-coated onto a microplate. A competitive inhibition reaction is launched between biotin labeled TSH and unlabeled TSH (Standards or samples) with the pre-coated antibody specific to TSH. After incubation the unbound conjugate is washed off. Next, avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. The amount of bound HRP conjugate is reverse proportional to the concentration of TSH in the sample. After addition of the substrate solution, the intensity of color developed is reverse proportional to the concentration of TSH in the sample.

Research Area: Endocrinology;Hormone metabolism;

References Citing This Product: Can Nigella Sativa oil (NSO) reverse hypothyroid status induced by PTU in rat? biochemical and histological studies

Effect of lettuce biofortified with iodine by soil fertilization on iodine concentration in various tissues and selected biochemical parameters in serum of Wistar rats

Lead exposure causes thyroid abnormalities in diabetic rats

Perinatal Iron Deficiency-Induced Hypothyroxinemia Impairs Early Brain Development Regardless of Normal Iron Levels in the Neonatal Brain

The Impact of Carrot Enriched in Iodine through Soil Fertilization on Iodine Concentration and Selected Biochemical Parameters in Wistar Rats

Effect of Intracerebroventricular Administration of Apelin-13 on the Hypothalamus–Pituitary–Thyroid Axis and Peripheral Uncoupling Proteins

Neuroprotective effects of thymoquinone against cerebellar histopathological changes in propylthiouracil-induced hypothyroidism in adult rats

Voluntary exercise training restores anticontractile effect of NO in coronary arteries of adult rats with antenatal/early postnatal hypothyroidism

Central irisin administration suppresses thyroid hormone production but increases energy consumption in rats

Maternal exposure of triclosan causes fetal development restriction and female reproductive alterations in rat offspring/A exposição materna ao triclosan causa …

Thyroid hormones, Sertoli cell proliferation and differentiation in progenies from carbamazepine© reated rat dams during pregnancy and lactation

Maternal Subclinical Hypothyroidism in Rats Impairs Spatial Learning and Memory in Offspring by Disrupting Balance of the TrkA/p75 NTR Signal Pathway

Effects of meteorin-like hormone on endocrine function of hypothalamo-hypophysial system and peripheral uncoupling proteins in rats

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0558/8588/9636/files/no_image_default_image-jpeg_d3a17eb1-706c-4bd9-9124-a40dded98e78.jpg?v=1783134099
