Collection: TA-cloning Kits

TA cloning kits are designed for the efficient cloning of PCR-amplified DNA fragments into plasmid vectors. “TA” refers to the 3’-adenine (A) overhangs of the vectors used. These overhangs are created by the use of a DNA polymerase lacking 3’-5’ exonuclease activity during PCR, resulting in the addition of a single adenine residue to the 3’ end of the PCR product.
